Is it Blogging or Bragging - there is a difference
Do you ever feel like some Bloggers suffer from a since of direction or creativity? After reviewing dozens of blogs around the country from self proclaimed professionals you find several who have a post with useful information followed by a blog bragging that they sold something to someone. Anyone who mistakenly subscribed to that type of blog would be greatly disappointed to see Blog posting about some trade show or who got hired since that information belongs on the company news area or on a Blog dedicated to company news.
Consider if the Wall Street Journal went from publishing useful news one day to only publishing information about some new printing machine and the great people they have on staff the next day - No News and a clear lack of focus. Most often this type of random blogging is done by bloggers with a lack of content or ideas to simply 'show' they have posted something...anything...desperate to keep new content. Keep online content consistent, consider how a prospective client may perceive the content of a blog and never post junk in place of valuable information just to show your doing something!
Online users looking for information on a Blog will be disappointed to find a blog full of bragging.

Understanding Pay Per Click PPC Search Engine Marketing
Search Engine Marketing through use of Pay Per Click (PPC) ads is an effective method of placing any website in front of prospective clients without having to optimize or market the website. Companies with new websites, extremely old websites or websites which offer multiple services in multiple locations are best serviced through use of pay per click marketing. Search Engine pay per click marketing (Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, Microsoft bCentral) is typically setup with a daily and/or monthly budget for the marketing campaign.
In traditional advertising marketers charge for a specific location in a magazine or newspaper in hopes that someone saw the advertisment based on a distribution number created by the company selling the advertising. This left much to be desired since the company selling the advertising was the same company providing the customers with the 'distribution numbers' estimating how many people might see the magazine or newspaper and hopefully view the advertisment inside of it. There was no true way to judge how many people saw the advertisment or what the return on investment was for the ad campaign. Online advertising, specifically pay per click (PPC) changed things with the pay for performance method of costs.
With PPC advertising a company only pays when the advertisment they show on the search engine is clicked on and a prospective customer is taken to the website to view the customer. When a customer simply views the ad on a search engine, without clicking, then there is no cost to anyone. Advertisers may setup a daily and monthly budget to spend for ads in addition to individual bids (yes bidding similar to ebay) for each search term or keyword phrase. A company or individual may bid for a particular phrase or set of keywords to have their advertisment show up when a search was done for those words on a search engine. The benefit is that advertisers pay for exactly what they receive while the detraction of bidding on keywords is that competitors can instantly outbid each other driving the costs up dramatically.
This means that ten companies may bid for the keyword phrase 'Kansas City Website Companies' all spending $1 per click to show up in the first ten advertising locations on a search engine. When ten more companies decided to bid on the same set of keywords they outbid the first companies for $1.50 per click or 50% higher cost per click. When the first set of companies see they have been outbid and their ads are no longer showing then they bid $2 a click or 100% more for the same traffic. Bidding sometimes becomes extremely competative when people or companies target a specific keyword phrase with no limit on how high the bidding goes for each click.
The benefit of Pay Per Click is that companies never pay for the branding/marketing aspects of having online users view the ad unless the online user actually clicks on the ad (thus pay per click). Online marketers sometimes neglect taking the time to search for the best 'bang for the buck' when setting up PPC accounts for clients. Builder Consulting spends several hours consulting with the customer to determine the top keywords and phrases then sets a specific budget for each term based upon the overall monthly goals and cost per click likelyhood of a return on investment. Keep in mind that any account setup with a daily and monthly budget will not show all ads all of the time.
The rate at which ads are shown is based upon budgets, likelyhood of the ad delivering a click (more effective ads are shown more often), the number of advertisers paying for each search term and the remaining balance of a budget for each advertiser. Any individual or company can setup pay per click advertising in a matter of minutes, setting it up properly to requires experiance and an understanding of the overall concepts, goals and technical aspects of the systems to provide a true return on investment.

Add Integrated Marketing To Your Marketing Mix
The combination of online marketing and offline marketing can give you a real bang for your buck. It’s pretty common today to find companies running well integrated marketing campaigns that include online advertising like PPC with offline campaigns. This combination is ideal for anyone who is building their brand and driving leads for a particular product or service.
Getting Started With Integrated Marketing
Perhaps you’re running marketing campaigns across multiple media. Even if you’re using something as simple as the Yellow Pages from a print perspective, there’s usually a corresponding form of online marketing that can enhance results.
One of the easiest ways to take advantage of an integrated campaign is use direct mail with a corresponding landing page. For example, I recently worked with a local retailer who was trying to bring more people into their store during the holiday season. My recommendation was to mail out post cards to past customers and nearby prospects that contained an offer.
The post card contained a special offer on select merchandise available in the store. To get a full list of applicable products that could be purchased during the promotional period, users were given a URL to a specially designed landing page. They could print a special coupon by visiting the URL included on the postcard. The web page included additional merchandise, specific information about the promotion, and an opportunity to sign up for special offers. This resulted in a number of outcomes including increased foot traffic and a list of emails that could be used for promotional purposes.
Start Small and Build From There
Creating an integrated marketing program is not an easy thing. All aspects of your campaign need to be well planned and tracked. Often times I see companies working towards integrated marketing only to give it an effort that is partially thought through. When asking consumers to go from an off line piece of marketing (an ad, a post card, a brochure) to an online information or offer, marketers are wise for focus on their audience and product or service benefits.

Integrated marketing is only successful is you are relevant. Your messaging must be consistent both online and off. In addition, the look and feel of your offer and landing page should be as consistent as possible. This improves the user experience and enhances conversion rates. When beginning with a small campaign, it’s easier to get the details right and see success.
Split Test and Tracking
Whether you’re running a traditional print campaign or an online marketing program, it’s best to be in a mode of continual testing. Start with a split test. Change your headline, experiment with a different offer, or change your copy. Regardless of which element you choose, split testing sets you up for future winning campaigns.
Track your results using basic web tracking like Google Analytics. To make the most of your integrated campaign, you’ll need a way to track whether your web visitors arrived directly from your promotion. By driving users to a specific URL identified in your direct marketing piece or ad, you’ll be able to measure web traffic. Additionally, require a special promotional code to be entered on your order form. In combination, you’ll have a number of data points that provide valuable information about your promotion.
Integrated marketing can work extremely well if your concept is simple and well executed. Start with a well thought through plan that is easily implemented. The effectiveness of any direct campaign is largely based on the offer and you’re list. Creative has less impact on the overall success of your campaign. So get started and be sure to test your campaign, comparing it to the effectiveness of your other marketing initiatives. You may find that integrated marketing has a better result than other forms of marketing on their own.
Pay Per Click Advertising Tips
When setting up a pay per click advertising campaign, a very important key to success is to break your campaigns into tight, granular ad groups. One way to carefully segment campaigns is to identify customer personas.
As internet users, we don't all search for the same products and services the same way. Different demographic groups may use slightly different search phrases and respond differently to offers. For this reason, it is important to understand what groups would be interested in your product or service and how to speak to them through your advertising.
Identify your customer subsets and give them names (i.e. high school students, soccer moms, etc). Think about the words each segment would search that would result in a sale/lead. Set up a different ad group for each customer segment and focus on the phrases that specific group would likely search. This will also allow you to present different ad copy/creative and landing pages to each segment.

Online Advertising Not Always Transfering Online Surfers to Sales
MIT Study Debunks Online Ad Advantages
Online advertising can be much better at targeting certain demographics than its traditional media counterparts. But as more competition enters the space, these advantages do not automatically translate into greater profits, according to a new study from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
MIT Sloan Assistant Professor Alessandro Bonatti said that marketers who think they can get better results at a lower cost by advertising on the internet instead of through more traditional media should consider all of the avenues available to them before making a decision. The same search and other technology that enabled advertisers to target particular audiences is also creating greater online competition for the same audience, thus reducing the profitability of advertising on any targeted website, he said.
The Paradox of Too Much Choice
“We know that newspapers have a very limited ability to target audiences,” said Bonatti, who worked with Yale University economics professor Dirk Bergemann on his research into the issue. “Specialized magazines can do better, while Google has a very good ability to target who’s browsing each page. So while online advertising certainly has the potential to drive out traditional advertising, it does not necessarily follow that online advertisers will make more money.
“That depends on the concentration of the online advertising industry,” Bonatti added.
The bottom line? As technology keeps improving, more and websites will be able to sell narrow products to very specialized audiences, diluting the profits that can be made through specialized advertising. “Instead of competing for one large pool, one big market, you will have price war in each targeted segment as the slice gets more and more narrow.”
“The paradoxical result,” Bonatti concluded, “is that the better the technology, the lower the profits for advertisers. You can make a lot of money through super-powerful targeting if you are a monopolist, but not in a competitive market.”

Vertical Networks
Bonatti’s findings take on greater relevance as vertical and hyper vertical ad networks continue to proliferate, MarketingVOX reports. According to Adify’s Vertical Gauge for Q309, brand advertising CPMs for various verticals - namely food, real estate and entertainment - posted quarter-to-quarter increases in 2009 and are performing well.

Google Chrome Gaining Market Share in Browser Race
Up until around midway through December of 2009, Google Chrome had been unsuccessful in breaking into the top three most utilized web browsers worldwide. Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari have held on tight to the top three spots respectively throughout most of 2009. With a new year, however, comes a new spot for Chrome in the browser wars as it was able to overtake Safari for the coveted third position.
Not likely a coincidence, the increase in market share of Chrome came about just as a beta version of the browser for Mac and Linux computers was released. Google still has a long way to go if they intend to surpass the market share of Firefox and IE, but they are moving in the right direction.

What You need to make money online? Nothing!
Guest Post by Simone Morris
Making money online is more and more popular in past months and I can freely say in past years, just look at Google search trends and you will understand what I am talking about.
Today I will to explain how sometime can be easy to make quick cash. Let say that there is a thousands ways to make money today using Internet. We will take CraigsList as great example. What we need to make $100 or $1000 weekly on CraigsList? Nothing! Don't believe? Ok, it is not nothing, but You need just some time and patience, and no money investment. We will talk about drop shipping today. So what is drop shipping? That is popular way for retailers to sell any merchandise without having it in stock. Actually, without having any stock at all. Or to be more precise, You can have physical online shop from shoes to iPods without leaving Your home or investing in stock. I hear You asking "how that is possible?", easy, that is something called drop shipping.
In drop shipping You make an online shop (buy domain for $10 and that is Your only money "investment"), use open source cart software like oSCommerce (absolutely free), decide which merchandise You will selling, for example, let say iPods, use Google to find manufacture which support drop shipping, and finally use CragsList and other free classifieds to promote Your business.
I know that You still believe that this what I am talking is possible. Ok, I will go again, step by step, and I hope that then everything will be clear. To become drop shipper seller You don't need money to invest. You don't need to have stock. You don't need to have anything. Nothing. Nada :) Now you for example decide to sell t-shirts. When You decided that Your future job will be an t-shirt online shop, you are buying domain something like my-t-shirt-shop.com or something. Then You are using Google to find company that will cooperate with you, or in other words, that will make t-shirts and send to Your clients. Just use Google. Then You need to find payment processor to accept credit card payments from your clients, and again use Google, I used plimus, authorize and similar services, it still cost you nothing, except of domain name (about $10 depending on your ISP.) After You found and signed online contract with payment processor, you need to build site, so You will use osCommerce or some other cart software, download images from manufacturer that You choose and create 10-50 products.
After this you are ready to go. Start posing ads on CraigsList and similar service attracting customers with low prices, high quality and similar of Your t-shirt. When people (buyers) start coming to Your site, and start buying Your t-shirts, what happens is next: when You receive money for order of 1 or 100 t-shirts, you are paying half of that su (approximately) to Your manufacturer and sending him Your buyer details (name and address), manufacturer packing Your order and sending to Your buyer. Buyer receives t-shirt and he is very satisfied. You made 30%-50% net profit and You are happy too. Manufacturer sold his products and made profit so he is happy to. All of You are happy :)
I hope that You understand that You can really make some money doing nothing, just with some initial work, good idea and a bit of creativity and patience.

The Top 10 Free Ways to Get Money Online
Finding a free way to make money online isn't easy and might take a lot of time. So, I put together 10 methods of making money online in this post to help you out. I have done research
on these money making methods. They were legitimate and didn't cost you money to begin.
No. 10 - Paid Survey
You might already heard about paid survey if you have searched on the Internet for while. The Internet ads told you that you can make a living doing paid survey. So, is that really true? Well, the answer is of course no. The ad messages were exaggerated. But it's true that paid survey can potentially earn you extra cash in monthly basis.
How to begin?
It's simple. Just go to paid survey directory like Yellowsurveys.com and join as many market research companies listed in the directory as possible. There is also a list of companies that are listed under the 'Most Popular' in the Yellowsurveys.com directory. Make sure you join all the companies in the 'Most Popular' category.
The signing up process will take you hours of time since you are going to join many companies. But once you've have completed all the sign up, your work is done. What you need to do next is wait for the paid survey invitation emails send to you by these companies. Not every company pays cash to participants who completed survey. Some companies offer vouchers (Amazon, etc), gift and products.
Who can join?
Anyone over 18 years in US and Canada. Most companies welcome any country but the paid survey invitations are often fit for US and Canada residents only.
Patience is needed
Paid survey isn't a way to get fast money. You would have got a few surveys for the first month and earning less than $10 in total. But, when time gets longer, you might start getting more surveys regularly. At that time, you might get about $30 to $100 per month in average.
No. 9 - Reviewing Products and Services
The shopping information sites will help these Internet users by providing reviews written by those people who already tried the products or services. These product reviews are real and useful for the Internet users to make the right choice. So, the shopping info sites would hope to publish new reviews constantly. And therefore, the shopping info sites are inviting anyone to submit honest and straight forward review on the product or service they've used or tried. For each review that the shopping information site approved, the submitter will be paid.
You don't have to be a professional writer to write review. Writing product review is about sharing your experience and opinions about the product you have used. Just be straight forward and tell the truth will do.
Sites that pay for product review:
ReviewStream.com - Pay $2 per product review. But the review rate might change anytime. No registration needed to submit review. You'll earn also for each time a reader vote on your review. $0.10 per vote.

SoftwareJudge.com - The site publishes reviews about software and online games. If you have something to say about a software or a game you have tried, you can share your opinion in Softwarejudge. The pay is between $1 to $50 per approved review depending on the quality.
No. 8 - Sharing Photos and Pictures
How to begin?
Only registered members of Break can upload photo. Registration is free and can be done at this page. Once you have signed up, you can start uploading your photos.
You may take a look at Break Gallery first to see what sorts of pictures and photos that Breaks like to feature before uploading your photos. This will give you an idea of what photos have a better chance to be featured. Amazing, interesting or funny pictures are often good for getting featured in Break Gallery.
Some rules to keep in mind are that the picture that you upload must be original (not copying from other site) and you have the sole ownership to it. Otherwise, you wouldn't be paid even though your pictured got featured.
Another way to make money with your photos is by selling them in the stock photography sites such as IstockPhoto and Shutterstock. The webmasters, magazine editors, web
designers, graphic designers, bloggers and other people who involve in the publishing field are paying monthly subscription to the stock photography sites. They choose to use what pictures they like for their publishing. Every time they choose to use your picture, you'll earn a small fee. So, the more people use your pictures, the more you'll earn.

If you have good volume of pictures and images to submit constantly to IstockPhoto and ShutterStock; and a few others are BigStockPhoto, GittyImages, Fotoliaia, etc, you could be earning consistent income with your pictures.
No. 7 - Uploading Files
Have you heard of websites that allow Internet users to upload files and earn money every time their file is downloaded by someone? There were actually quite a lot of these file-sharing websites offering this service. But because the pay is too low that many people become not interested on them.
However, there is a file-sharing website which I recently come across worth mentioning. The site
is called Share Cash. Share Cash offers the users who upload files $0.20 to $0.60 per download. That's $200 to $600 per 1,000 download. The pay rate is very much higher than most other file-sharing sites which usually offer only $1 to $3 per thousand download. If you have interesting files to share with people on the Internet, why not share them through this site and earn more cash for each download of your file.

How to Begin?
You need to become a member of Share Cash to upload files. Registration is fast and easy. All you need to do is fill out the short form at http://sharecash.org/register.php and then you can proceed to upload your files.
To get good amount of download, you should upload something that many people will be interested to see. You'll want to share your file with as many Internet users as possible to maximize your earning. So, some marketing works are needed. You might try to post about it in related forums, invite your friends in social networking communities to download your file..... All these can add your download up and so as your earning. You can read more about tips of getting download at http://sharecash.org/tips.php.
Not every download earns
According to the users who have got paid, Share Cash is just looking for US and UK download. Users from other countries downloaded your file will most probably not counted for earning.
No. 6 – Freelancing
The daily posted freelance job opportunities include web design, article writing, Internet marketing, programming, editing, online data entry, accounting, admin support, database management, graphic design and many more. So you can search through these freelance websites to find the freelance projects that you can work for and make some extra money.
How to Begin?
You may just start by becoming a freelancer (member) of Guru.com (a freelance service site). You'll be asked to create a profile to include your experience, education, skill, etc. Then you can access the Guru.com job board to search for the freelance works that are right for you and bid for them. They will be other freelancers bidding the same jobs as well. So, make sure you set your price lower and write your proposal well. Who to choose for the job is solely decided by the employer.
Who can join?
Anyone can become a freelancer regardless if you are living in Asia, Europe or US.
The alternative of Guru.com
If you find hard to get a job on Guru.com because of the tough competition there, you might try in Freelancefree.com and DigitalPoint Forum. Freelancecefree works the same way as Guru.com but the marketplace is smaller and so as the competition is lowers. Digital Point (DP) on the other hand is the largest webmaster forum. As a member of DP, you can post ads about your freelance services and also find freelance works that you're interested in the Buy, Sell or Trade section of the forum. There is also competition in DP forum, but getting works is easier.
No. 5 - AssociatedContent.com
The AssociatedContent (AC) is an established huge content network welcoming anyone to participate and contribute content on any topic.
AC has been rewarding content contributors constantly. They pay the members who submit articles in two ways:
1) Upfront Payment - A one time payment to the member for every article that the member submitted and get approved by AC. Usually $3 to $10 for each approved article. Only for US residents at the moment.
2) Performance Payment - It is the payment based on the traffic that your published articles received. The current rate AC offers is $1.50 per one thousand page views generated from your articles. This payment option works well with interesting articles that attract many readers.
This is an extra income opportunity for you if you like to write or have good writing skill.
How to begin?
It's simple to start publishing on AC. Just go to the AC Sign Up page, fill out the form, hit the 'sign up now' button and you are set to publish articles on any topic in AC.
To have a better chance for your articles to get accepted for upfront payment, you are suggested to write articles that wouldn’t lose value over time. How-to articles and guide on doing something are some of the good examples for upfront payment. And you should also do some
researches on AC. Try to find topics that still haven't had many articles in them and then submit articles on these topics. These articles are more likely to get accepted for upfront payment.

For performance payment option, it seems harder to earn money because you get only $1.50 for per one thousand views generated by your published articles. But there is a strategy you can use to take advantage on the pay per thousand option. The strategy is keep submitting articles to AC to build up a large collection of articles of yours. Many of your articles will soon attract traffic and from time to time you articles might build up good traffic and earn you passive income of $20 to $50 each month.
No. 4 - Writing and Selling Article Pack
But in Digital Point Forum, everyone has the same opportunity to make money with articles. As mentioned before, Digital Point is the largest webmaster forum with massive traffic gained. The forum has established a marketplace for people to buy and sell articles. The written articles were often made into a pack of 5 or 10 articles and posted for sales on Digital Point Marketplace at one price. There are quite a lot of buyers purchasing article pack in the forum. This is a marketplace ideal for you to sell your articles.
You don't need to be a pro-writer but you do need some writing skill to do this little business. The process is simple. You first create 5 to 10 articles on a topic, post an ad on the marketplace about it and wait for the potential buyers to contact you via private message of the forum.
Make sure you have a PayPal account to accept payment.
How to begin?
Visit http://forums.digitalpoint.com/register.php to join as a member of the forum. Then start reading the topics and threads that you're interested and post your replies. You need to reach 25 posts and at least 14 days of joining DP before you can post ad on the DP marketplace.
What articles sell often?
I noticed in the DP that the topics like Wordpress, make money online, affiliate marketing, social media marketing are selling quite well. You may start creating 5 articles in one of the topics to test sell in DP. But these are just some of the good demand topics I noticed, you might do some researches in DP to find more profitable topics that you can write for.
Certain simple rules you must keep in mind is that your article must be unique (not published anywhere before) and can only sell once - to one buyer only.
How to write the ad
It's not difficult. You can just refer the existing ads and get an idea on what you should put in. There are only ad title and ad description you need to write. Here's an example of the title"
'5 Wordpress Articles | 100% Unique | $15'
For the ad description, make sure you include the title of each articles and the length of each, the price of the article pack and mention that they were all Copyscape Pass. Tell the viewers to send 'private message' to you if they're interested.
What price to set
The price needs to be low in DP. People like to buy in DP because there were good deals they can find. For a pack of 5 articles, you are suggested to set the price at $15 or lower. You might go for a little higher the price, but if you can't get your articles sold, then cut the price down.
No. 3 - Sell Your Used Stuff
However, it's different when you sell in other auction sites such as eBid and Atoncer. Both of the auction sites don't charge listing fee, meaning anything that you list for sale is free. The sites only charge you a 'final value fee' when you've sold an item.
The marketplace of eBid and Atoncer aren't big as eBay but they are quite popular on the Internet as well. Any old or used stuff in your home that you find you can sell, try listing them for sale in eBid and Atoncer. If you’ve sold something successfully, you will make profit. But if your item doesn't sell, you have nothing to lose and you can list again.
Other than free auction sites, Craiglist is another excellent online marketplace to sell your used stuff. Craiglist is a classified ad site that anyone can take advantage on. There is no cost to post ad in Craiglist except you are posting ad into the job category. The great thing about Craiglist is that it divides the ads by city or region, making it easier to find buyers in your town.
Generating sales through Craiglist is certainly possible. And you can always re-list your ad when your previous ad is getting older. But remember to always include picture when you list any item for sale in Craiglist and also in the auction sites. Adding product picture has proven to be effective for increasing responses dramatically.
Oh.. There is one more marketplace I almost forgot to mention. It's the famous Amazon. Like eBid and Atoncer, Amazon doesn't charge listing fee but if you sell an item, they will take a percentage of it.
Your used cell phone can bring you fast cash if you are in US

How to Do Affiliate Marketing with Help of Your Blog
Guest Post by Gagandeep Singh
Affiliate Marketing is one of the most effective ways to monetize your Blog traffic and earn a good amount online. But like everything it is not a easy job and requires hard work and patience before it starts paying back. Below are the few basic tips which would help you to start in Affiliate marketing or if you are already in to Affiliate Marketing you can use this tips to take your marketing campaign up to next level.
Analyze Your Readership: - Before Promoting an affiliate campaign you should analyze the type of traffic you are getting. Either most of the people visit your blog just for information? At what stage of Buying Cycles they are? What kind of posts people prefer to read more on your blog? What Content your Blog has? Whether your Blog contains only Information articles or You Blog about latest products which can influent people to buy them?
Selecting Products to Promote: - The success and failure of your affiliate marketing campaign would depend on your selection of Affiliate Program. Before selecting a program you need to understand what your readers are looking for, what is the Quality of products you are going to promote, what would be the Impact on your Blog Readership if you promote a product, what is the location of your readers in case you are going to promote a tangible product? Choose Product and Companies which have good reputation.
Be Genuine: - Be Honest and Genuine about the product you are promoting. Tell both pros and Cons of the product so that your reader can take a correct decision according to his/her Requirements. Your Reader comes on your blog because they have level of trust for you. So Respect that Trust and give genuine recommendations about the Product.
Positioning of Ads: - Place your ads and banners at the Left Hand side or at the Top of your Blog So That it could be easily visible to your readers. You can also try contextual deep link strategy on your Blog. Put the links to sales pages between the relevant articles. When a user see your ad in relevant article he would be more likely to click your ad than if he saw your ad at any other place.
Promote Multiple Products: - Don’t put all your efforts in single Product. Select Multiple Products for your Readers and promote them. At the same time don’t fill your blog with affiliate ads that you can’t give proper attention even to single product.
Traffic: - When it comes to earn online Traffic is also an important factor. Don’t focus only on promoting campaigns but also focus on improving your blog readership. You can also use Social Media websites like Youtube, twitter, Facebook etc to improve your traffic level. More the traffic you get more your affiliate links would be seen.
Patience: - It takes lot of time and Hard Work to see Effective Results in Affiliate Marketing. You won’t be seeing any Results (or very little) for first few months. So you need to be patient and continue the good Work.
Track Results: - Each Affiliate program gives you a facility to Track results. Compare results of each Program you are promoting. These Results would help you to understand which program converts better than others. Leave the low performing products and scale up your sales with Remaining.

Bad News! Content is no longer King
Guest Post by Stephen Ng
Are you like me? Always believe that to do well online; you need to have great content? Well not anymore! Every other day, I try to write the best article for my readers like yourself and most of the time it will take me more than a day to write one good article.
In the process to write a good article, very often I have to research on the topic on what I am going to write. There are so many blogs out there and when I am unlucky, I won’t be able to gather any valid points to include in my article. Does this sound all too familiar to you as well?
Don’t get me wrong! I am not asking you to write junks to entertain your readers. If your reader wants to be entertained in this manner, they would have gone to YouTube and search for some comedy videos. Your visitor on your blog is hoping to bring home a lesson that they can be proud to share with their friends and that is what I hope to achieve in this post.
There are simply too many information that can be found on the Internet. If you have read a great article earlier on another blog does not mean that you won’t be able to read another article that is even better? You are not able to read the best article between these 2 blogs because the first blog is better with marketing and that is why you found him!
Having good content is important. Equally important is your marketing. It is similar to having great ideas without taking any action to bring it to fruition. I am not here to teach you how to write your article. Instead I am here to suggest that marketing is more important that good content. What is the use of writing a good article and when it is done, you forgot to publish it? Will your visitors get to read it? Therefore what I am trying to share with you is that Marketing is King and Content is Queen!

Blogging – An Extreme Marketing Tool for the New Century
Blogging today has become quite the force. People blog about almost everything, from politics and the news, to sports and business, even their own personal lives! Should you?
In marketing, there’s no doubt that blogging has become a highly effective tool. Is it right for everyone though? Maybe not, but it is a valuable way to add fresh content to most web sites.
All of the most highly used search engines, including Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask and MSN all expect webmasters to keep their sites updated often. Blogs provide a way to add fresh content capably and effectively.
This doesn’t mean that you need to flood readers and visitors with eBook novels to be a success though. In most cases the shorter and more to the point they are the better. A quick, well written piece of work is actually better than a long, boring narrative that no one wants to read. Fifty words with a few doses here and there of useful keywords will become magnets to search engines, and helpful information for your target audience will appeal to the human visitors you wish to turn into your customer base. Applying this three to seven times a week for a year will turn your website into the well oiled machine that search engines just love.
Not that it will take a full year though. You can achieve the same success in three to six months if you fill your blogs with entertainment, amusement, originality and unique content that will turn your readers into repeat customers.
If you are considering the use of blogging as a marketing tool in your future, don’t sell yourself short with only keeping an online diary for your writing either. A few keywords tossed around aren’t all it takes to make your blog a success. You must communicate with your audience which content is most informative, which is most entrancing, and what is benefitting to them. There are also two other forms of blogging growing more and more popular as well. Whichever forms you use will depend on you and your company’s objectives and ambitions.
These two types of blogging – audio and video – can also be just as effective if not more in some cases. This doesn’t mean they are for everyone though. Do you make a living with your voice, such as singing or public speaking? These kinds of talents can be a unique way of reaching customers who can assess and appraise your work also. Of course, perhaps everyday would be a bit much, but it’s good to keep your options open.
The same applies to video blogging. Maybe you are an actor or technician with talents related to production or direction of video? There is a lot to consider with this form of blogging nowadays, with internet video upload capabilities, affordable digital cameras, and software bringing it all together and becoming easier day by day. Blogging and the 21st century are upon us, and these powerful marketing strategies are beneficial to almost any and every business. These are all definitely worth checking out.
Make a Blog Income Starting Today
Guest Post by Andrew Rondeau
Every day, thousands of people make a blog and take their first steps into blogging. While some end generating a large readership and eventually some blogging income, the vast majority of bloggers fail to amass even a single reader, and most don't make a cent from their blogging experiences. It's a statistic that's slightly alarming and potentially annoying to a lot of wannabe bloggers, however once you examine the true causes of failed blogs, and the true motivators for blogging success, you begin to see how blogging can actually be incredibly lucrative.
Most bloggers fail because of a lack of patience. They see the top bloggers bringing in thousands of dollars a day and reaching tens of thousands of people, and they think that they could be there overnight. As usual, the truth is different from the fantasy. While thousands of bloggers make it to Technorati's top listings, the vast majority end up disillusioned and disappointed after a few days, sometimes a few weeks, and end up leaving their blogs untouched for years.
In that way, blogging is like business. While millions of businesses fail every year, thousands grow into the giant companies that push the world economy forward. Generating blog income should be treated just like a business in order to have maximum success. Treat your blog as a revenue source, make strategic decisions to boost your earning and increase your influence, and experiment with different revenue streams. I've listed some of the best blogging revenue streams below, to help you boost your blog's earnings and increase your own blogging confidence.
PPC Advertising
By using PPC ads on your blog, you can generate a small (but potentially lucrative) income every time a user clicks through to another website. While it's smart to plan ahead for advertising strategies (especially if your blog advertises your services) general purpose blogs can easily generate thousands of dollars a month with good advertising placement.
PPM Advertising
If you'd prefer the security of a flat fee over the growth potential of PPC, cost-per-thousand advertising can bring in consistent and valuable income. While most small bloggers can arrange a PPM advertising program for their blog through a network, big blogs might like to look at offering independent advertising spaces and special one-off client rates.
Of course, part of establishing yourself as a powerful advertising resource is growing in size. Small blogs aren't great advertising earners, especially if they deal with relatively general subjects. This raises the question: What can small blogs do to earn blog income?
Start by offering your services, whether they're creative, technical, or business based. There are people out there that are willing to work with you, especially if they already read your blog. Make a blog to use as a promotional tool and you'll see opportunities not just for direct advertising income, but for indirect partnerships and contracting potential. The opportunities for blog income are endless, and with some drive and perception, it's easy to turn a small blog into a massive revenue bringer.

With Your WordPress Blog Start Making Money Today
Guest post by Andrew Rondeau
Have you heard of the thousands of bloggers out there earning over $1,000 per day? The online wealth flame is most certainly still alive, and with blogs set to transform the journalism and publishing industry, there's big money to be made with a well designed, highly targeted blog. No matter what subject you write about, there are thousands of people out there who are interested in your opinion, and are dying to hear what you've got to say.
So don't waste time with failed money making schemes. Focus on what's proven to bring in cash: blogging. With a simple Wordpress blog, you can establish your own online presence and create a scalable online income. While there are hundreds of ways to make money with a Wordpress blog, these four are our favorites:
#1: Use Google Adsense to generate blogging income
Advertising is the oldest and most stable form of online income, with hundreds of thousands of bloggers turning to Google's Adsense program to generate revenue from their blogs. Thanks to an extremely user-friendly interface, even an absolute beginner blogger can see results from their Adsense ad blocks, provided they've got a large enough audience to go with them. Focus on establishing readers and subscribers, then incorporate advertisements into your blog for maximum clicks and interest. Revenue might start out small, but with a large enough audience it will quickly snowball into something bigger.
#2: Sell your services using your blog
Are you a graphic designer or web developer? If you're a popular blogger, you've got an instant audience to advertise your services to. Even a simple Wordpress blog is enough to advertise your business on, and with a dedicated and targeted audience, you could see passive subcribers turn into active, paying customers. This strategy works best when your blog is focused on the industry you operate in. While any advertising is worth it, you'll get best results from advertising design services on your design blog, coding on your programming blog, and so on.
#3: Use affiliate programs to generate income
Affiliate programs are effectively online commission sales jobs. When a reader clicks through to an affiliate ad, they're taken to an online store, where you receive a portion of every sale made. This is a great way to monetize a blog that's product based, rather than industry based. Focus on driving leads to products that they're interested in, and use your blog to promote products that you know will sell.
#4: Add sponsored blog posts for extra income
If you've got a wide audience, companies would love to have you personally advertise their products. Banner advertisements can only do so much, and in an interconnected world it's best to have influential people do your selling. One way of generating blogging income is to use sponsored posts, which are essentially a sales pitch wrapped up in a blog post. Sometimes, companies will approach you with an idea for a sponsored post. On other occasions, you can custom design one yourself using affiliate links and a product you know your audience will love.
Don’t get me wrong, doing all of the above is not going to make you $1000 a day within weeks or months. Blogging is hard work and takes a lot of commitment and persistence. But you do have to start somewhere.

Choosing the Right Blogging Platform
So you’ve decided that blogging is for you to make money online. Now, one of the things you need to choose is which blogging platform to use. Selecting the right one will make your blogging days easy. Choose the wrong one, and you could end up never enjoying blogging again.
A blogging platform is a program designed to help you in managing your blog. From the first steps of creation, all the way to adding, editing and deleting posts, as well as approving or deleting comments. In addition to these common tasks, your platform may be able to enhance your blog with other elements as well. Therefore, it is important to spend time experimenting with different types available to see which platform is right for you.
Of course you want a user friendly blogging platform that allows you to customize your blog to make it unique. Don’t expect it to just fall right into your lap though, part of this process is to see which one suits you and your needs most ideally. Spend some time feeling them out and testing them before settling with your favorite choice.
When searching for the right one, it will help to know what you are looking for. Do you want one that is simple to use with less features perhaps, or perhaps a highly customizable one that adds features and enhancements is more for you.
One such platform, Moveable Type, is a highly customizable platform, but may be a poor choice if you do not have HTML or Javascript experience. If you are comfortable with code and computer languages or you are an experienced web master, this may be the choice for you.
Conversely, if you are not so technically savvy, an automated platform such as WordPress and Blogger may be your best route to success. If you don’t mind using templates, or are a new blogger, WordPress and Blogger offer an extremely user-friendly alternative for those without skills in coding.
You can’t get an accurate depiction of the best blogging platform out there though. You will have different needs and ideas for your blog than the next blogger. While you may find MoveableType the most appropriate choice, your best friend may find another program more rewarding and therefore, the best.
Also, don’t forget that blogging is as individual as personalities are, and there is no software that will satisfy each individual’s needs. There are many available, and this is because the developers are as individual as the bloggers, and create programs suited for many styles and aptitudes, including your own.
